Our Journey in Nepal
Bhanjyang Travels and Trek was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to create a platform where local women could showcase their expertise, knowledge, and passion for the mountains while providing travelers with authentic and meaningful experiences in Nepal.
Founded in 2018 by Kamala Gurung, a seasoned trekking guide with over 12 years of experience, our agency started as a small initiative to train and employ local women as professional trekking guides. What began with just three women guides has now grown into a team of skilled professionals who have successfully led hundreds of trekkers from around the world.
Based in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, we specialize in treks within the Annapurna Conservation Area, offering everything from gentle walks to challenging high-altitude adventures. Our women guides bring unique perspectives, cultural insights, and unmatched dedication to every journey.
